Jujhar Singh functions as a senior anchor and political correspondent for NewsX. As an anchor, he co-presents 'Bureau Hour' and has most recently covered the U.S. Election campaign from the United Sates as well as the Republican and Democrat National Conventions. With co-anchor Shireen, he handled the U.S elections again and this time from India.   

Jujhar began his career with the weekly current affairs programme 'Newstrack' in 1996 and three months into his career secured an exclusive one on one interview with the then Prime Minister of India, H.D. Deve Gowda. Thereafter, his various political and investigative stories included an exclusive advance preview of former president Zail Singh's memoirs, interviews with Asif Ali Zardari in Pakistan, the Dalai Lama, , I.K. Gujral and Imran Khan.

As a reporter, his special investigation  - Radiating Lies - into Uranium mining in Jharkhand for India's nuclear programme received high critical acclaim. His other special stories included an investigation into negligence at top Delhi hospitals and gangster politicians in U.P. & Bihar. Jujhar also reported extensively from Uttar Pradesh during the Lok Sabha election of 2004. Subsequently, he has reported from the field in every major state election including in Bihar, West Bengal and Gujarat.

He has also written for several newspapers including the Indian Express, The Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Asian Age and the Sunday Observer.
