Mr. Adi Godrej is the Chairman of The Godrej Group, a privately held over 100 years-old family conglomerate, with operations in India and several other countries.

Mr. Godrej is highly respected and admired by his peers in the business community for his outstanding leadership, which has allowed him to sustain profitability and growth for his organisation over many years.

Mr. Godrej has also been President of the Indian Soap & Toiletries Makers’ Association, The Central Organisation for Oil Industry and Trade, The Solvent Extractor’s Association of India, The Compound Livestock Feeds Manufacturers’ Association and the Indo-American Society.

He is a member of the Governing Board of the Indian School of Business, the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Dean’s Advisory Council of the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and a member of the Wharton Asian Executive Board.

Mr. Godrej holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
