Leaders in India Business Forum 2008, is proud to present The Indo-International Business Achievement Awards (The IIBAAs), one of the most highly anticipated accolades among the Indian and global business communities.
The IIBAAs have been instituted to acknowledge exceptional entrepreneurial and innovative talent, effective and responsible leadership and management, and the setting of new standards within Indian and global businesses. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have spearheaded meaningful socially responsible practices within India, and internationally.
The IIBAA Categories
Informa India invites you to submit nominations for consideration under the following categories of The IIBAAs, no later than 19th September 2008:
Indian Business Leader 2008
The Indian Business Leader 2008 Award will be given to the organisational head of an Indian company who has demonstrated exemplary leadership in their industry. Commitment to staff, customers, shareholders and the community are some of the parameters which will be considered. This award is for the leader who has created an impact in the Indian industry and its perception globally.
International Business Leader 2008
The International Business Leader 2008 Award recognises the organisational head who has created an impact globally through inspirational leadership. Qualities such as innovation, community service, and the ability to effectively capitalise on global trends in ways that have helped develop the business, will be reviewed.
Indian Company of the Year 2008
The Indian Company of the Year 2008 Award will be presented to an Indian head-quartered MNE that has sustained robust growth during the past year; spearheaded sectoral innovation in India; enhanced quality, service levels and the overall customer experience within the Indian market; and has successfully competed with international MNEs either or both in Indian and international markets.
International Company of the Year 2008
The International Company of the Year 2008 Award will be presented to an internationally head-quartered MNE that has sustained robust growth during the past year; spearheaded innovation in its sector globally; and elevated quality, service levels and the overall customer experience in its global markets, including India.
Young Business Leader 2008
The Young Business Leader 2008 Award will be presented to an individual under forty years of age by the close of The IIBAAs nominations process, who has demonstrated significant achievement in the creation, management and growth of a new or existing business enterprise. The recipient of this award will be a person who has made his or her own mark, without an inherited legacy, and built the foundations of a flourishing business organisation.
Leader in Corporate Social Responsibility 2008
The Leader in Corporate Social Responsibility 2008 Award will be presented to the business organisation - Indian or International - that has acted as an exemplary role model in India, by contributing meaningfully to social and civic welfare. This organization will have proved itself to be a leader in CSR by virtue of its investment, innovation and unfailing commitment to its social and civic projects.
The Nominations Process
Nominations for The IIBAAs are invited from the international and Indian business community and must be submitted by the date below.
NOMINATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 5PM, FRIDAY 19th SEPTEMBER 2008
Nominations will be filtered to ensure that they meet the criteria per category, as set out above. A maximum of 3 nominees will be named per category.
The Voting Process
Votes for The IIBAAs are invited from the international and Indian business community, and will commence from 22nd September 2008
VOTING MUST BE COMPLETED NO LATER THAN 5PM, FRIDAY 28th NOVEMBER 2008
After counting and verification of final votes, the nominees and winners will be announced and televised at The IIBAAs Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner, as part of Leaders in India Business Forum 2008, on 5th December, in Mumbai.

- All categories are open to public and private sector commercial organisations
- Duplicate nominations or votes from the same person will NOT be accepted
